This course has hosted The Maine Amateur, The Maine Open, The New England Amateur, US Amateur qualifying, and now it is home to the Drive Fore Kids.
Noted television commentator Peter Kostis ("The Golf Professional for Golf Professionals") has been associated with Falmouth Country Club since its inception. This is the course that featured Kostis, Mark Calcaveccia, Tom Purtzer, Tom Kite, Bobby Watkins, Gary Koch, Ken Green, and Davis Love III in the "Pepsi Skins Challenge".
